The results of an international tender for the reconstruction of the waterfront in Grignano, a zone next to the historic Miramare Castle near Trieste, have been announced. The winning design is a project by 3LHD and the engineering team from Roselli e Associati Studio. The Croatian and Italian studios will jointly develop the project for the reconstruction of all public spaces and the promenade in the immediate vicinity of the castle and the park that surrounds it. The port of Grignano thus becomes an extension of Miramare Park and contributes to a new, more natural character of the whole area.
