The Janković Manor Visitors' Center in Suhopolje was officially opened on May 7th. The manor, which has been under construction since 2017, has the rank of protected cultural heritage and its renovation and conversion into a visitors' center was initiated by the Virovitica-Podravina County. The author of the architectural project for the manor reconstruction is 3LHD.
The project is co-financed by the European Structural and Investment Funds. The structure of the Janković Manor was in extremely poor condition. All buildings changed their shape due to partial reconstruction made throughout the yars, and there were significant changes in the structure of buildings. The Manor was reconstructed in cooperation with the conservators, while respecting the historical heritage and preserving the valuable historical elements of the building. The main building has been reconstructed and both wings have been creatively reinterpreted in a modern way due to irreversible structural damage.
