The future tourist resort is located 6km from Old City of Dubrovnik. The project plans a reconstruction of five historic hotels into one upscale destination with approximately 400 beds.

This development will capitalize on the location of existing structures to capture world class views of beach and sea, and the stunning backdrop of coastal Croatia. The resort has a private and secluded feel as it is situated in a natural valley surrounded by dramatic hillsides that will remain undeveloped. On both sides of the property, against the hillside backdrop, existing hotel structures will be renovated to a high luxury standard, a five-star hotel on one side and 32 apartments and 4 villas on the other side. These accommodations will feature green roof terraces, large windows and glass surfaces to blend the natural surroundings with each unit. The centerpiece of the resort is the Grand Hotel, which will be refurbished as a central part of the resort with spa facilities, specialty restaurant and a banquet hall. Guest services and back of house spaces will utilize existing structures in the rear of the property to stay separate from the heart of the resort.

All guests will have access to the beach, as well as a series of swimming pools with sun decks, poolside cabanas, water sports zones and food and beverage pavilions. A refurbished yacht club/restaurant will anchor an updated marina defined by a new breakwater structure, built to protect and accommodate large and small vessels. A continuous waterfront promenade just above the beach level will allow guests easy access to the resort’s amenities.

An abundance of mature greenery will provide a sense of permanence and connection to nature. The resort plan will preserve these trees and create a variety of garden experiences within.
