BoRoot is a lighting fixture of simple aesthetics and high functionality. It formally originated from the Root collection to enable different lighting performances. BoRoot continues the exploration of the theme of grouping and interactivity of lighting fixtures and is visually even more elemental than Root. It consists only of a suspension and a slender cylinder that conceals the lighting fixture, with the light beam directed at a smaller surface area. While Root rotates, BoRoot is fixed in its position, but by moving the cylinder, the light beam and illuminated surface change. Like Root, BoRoot is designed as an element that can be grouped but also functions independently.

In both Root and BoRoot, the initial premise is fundamentally architectural and demonstrates the "expanded function" of lighting fixtures. Both systems are conceived as compositional elements capable of forming spatial subunits or accents in a space, and their interactivity contributes to the variability of the ambient properties of the space. Thanks to their elegance, their "minimal" form is suitable for standalone use, but their true potential is realized in larger groupings and free compositions entrusted to other architects or users.
