One of the partners at 3LHD, Saša Begović, was invited to become a Visiting Professor at Cornell University in the United States for this academic year. Cornell University, Department of Architecture, and its architectural program is one of the oldest and most respected in the United States.
Saša has been active in the academic field for 17 years, and as a guest critic, workshop leader and visiting professor worked at several universities in Croatia and abroad: ETH Zurich, Northeastern University in Boston, Technical University in Vienna and Munich et al. He was a visiting lecturer at Graz University of Technology (2001-05), held a visiting professorship at the Faculty of Architecture in Ljubljana, Slovenia (2013) and at the Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb, Croatia (2011-16). Since 2010, he has held a visiting assistant professorship, chair of architecture and urban design at University of Split's Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy.
