Our partner Marko Dabrović was a guest on the radio show Dnevni ritam on the First Program of Croatian Radio, hosted by Mirjana Grahovac. Also participating in the discussion was Prof. Dr. Sc. Marko Ševrović from the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences. The topic of the conversation was the current issues of Zagreb’s traffic system and the challenges of spatial planning in the context of urban mobility.
The show continued the public forum The City and Traffic, held as part of the Urania program, where discussions focused on the possibilities of better coordination between transport and urban development, with an emphasis on sustainable models of movement within the city.
Although Zagreb has a tram and bus network as well as a partially developed cycling infrastructure, the city’s traffic system still faces numerous challenges — from unintegrated public transport systems and disconnected bike lanes to insufficient suburban rail connectivity.
At Studio 3LHD, we believe that long-term solutions are only possible through an integrated approach — thoughtful urban planning, harmonization of transport systems, and synergy between traffic and spatial policies. Only in this way can we create a city that is functional, accessible, and sustainable for all its citizens.
