The new Amarin Apartment Village in Rovinj is located north of the city, in the area of an existing tourist resort. The new village is placed in an area of dense Mediterranean vegetation, which was the main conceptual element of the project. The accommodation units were formed in five blocks grouped in the greenery. The blocks are formed from simple, L ground floor shaped two-storey units. Each apartment unit has an intimate outdoor space with an entrance terrace as a main design and visual element. The blocks differ from one another in the colour scheme of the materials the building facades are treated with and illustrations on the signage and environmental graphics. In this way, micro sceneries and intimate living spaces were created. Outdoor spaces at the Village are graded from intimate - atria, semi-public - the neighborhood, to the public - paths through the village.
