A silver medal for Zamet Centre on IOC/IAKS Award 2011

Center Zamet designed by 3LHD architects won a silver medal at the ceremony of IOC/IAKS Award 2011 held in Cologne on 26th of October. In this year's international competition with a record number of applications of 133 projects from 36 countries, Zamet Centre shared the silver medal with the sports hall Podčetrtek. In their category E - single indoor facilities gold was not granted. IOC/IAKS Award and IPC/IAKS Distinction Award are given biennially by the International Olympic Committee and International Association for Sports and recreation facilities, and Para-Olympic International Association for best architectural achievements of facilities intended for sports and recreation and projects specifically adapted for athletes and spectators with disabilities.
