3LHD has been awarded the 2024 Annual Award for Green Building and Sustainable Built Environment, in the category Institution/Organization of the Year. The award is presented by the Croatian Green Building Council, recognizing excellence and innovation in sustainable architecture and encouraging circular economy principles and responsible spatial planning.
The award was presented on July 10 at the Summer Green Workshop, and for us, it stands as recognition of a practice that has consistently integrated sustainability as a core value — not a separate goal, but a continuous, thoughtful process.
At 3LHD, we believe that architecture does not exist in isolation. It is the result of collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and engagement with space, people, and time. Our projects are diverse, but they share the same approach: collective, interdisciplinary, and long-term.
This philosophy is reflected in works like the Grand Park Hotel Rovinj, seamlessly embedded in the natural landscape; the Bale Sports Hall, rooted in local materials and tradition; the Rimac Campus, which integrates cutting-edge digital tools and collaborative design processes; and the transformation of Urania, a former cinema, into our office and a public cultural center.
