Saša Begović is holding a lecture named "Post-industrial islands in the city center". The Gredelj Zone area is one of the most valuable properties in the city of Zagreb with the potential of great public and private value. In order to enable development, a common approach to realization by both public (City of Zagreb, state, HŽ) and private investors is needed. 3LHD's vision of the Zone plans for housing and commercial programs and buildings, but also for supporting facilities that would enable the zone to "live" - through faculties, a new scene of the Croatian National Theatre and a market designed like the Santa Caterina market in Barcelona. The lecture will take place within the ARTUR conference 2017 - Industry and Tourism, at the Zagreb Architects Society on November 13th, starting at 3PM.
