We participated in the third edition of the Balkan Architecture Biennial held from 18 to 25 December 2017 in Belgrade. The exhibition themed New Patterns in Architecture and Urbanism has gathered more than 50 teams and showcased 80 works. Karlovac Freshwater Aquarium was awarded with the Grand Prix for the best built project.
The selection of winners was made by the jury - prof. dr Eva Vaništa Lazarević, prof. dr Petar Arsić, from the University of Belgrade, prof. dr Sophia Vyzoviti from the University of Thessaly, prof. dr Mihajlo Zinoski from the University of Skopia and dr Maria Jose Climent Mondejar from the San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia.
The biennale has gradualy evolved into a comprehensive architectural platform that includes the presentation and promotion of all forms of architectural practices, a scientific conference, an investment fair, and accompanying events such as cinema, workshops, performances and lectures.
