Mediterranean GSD Lecture: Rimac Campus for electric car production

Harvard Graduate School of Desing

10. February 2022

The Harvard Graduate School of Design organized a lecture on the Rimac Campus, one of the largest combined research, development, and production facilities in Europe, currently under construction near Zagreb. Guest speakers were Mate Rimac, CEO of Bugatti Rimac and Rimac Technology, and Marko Dabrović, architect and partner at 3LHD, who presented the company's vision and the architectural project. Following the lecture, there was a discussion with participants, including questions and answers.
Envisioned as a wall-less park, the Rimac Campus project explores what it means to design a factory in a post-industrial, electro-energetic era. The new campus will include spaces for research and development, prototyping and design, production, testing, management, and administration for around 2500 employees, as well as abundant facilities and open spaces accessible to the public.
The lecture took place on February 10th, starting at 6:00 PM.
