Marjan Hotel reconstruction
16. November 2020
The original hotel designed by Lovro Perković on Zapadna obala dates back to the 1960s. This iconic building in Split was created in several phases. The concept of complete reconstruction retains all the settings of the original project: a horizontal three-storey base with two atriums around which the hotel's public spaces are organized and a vertical volume that retains the functions defined in the original project. The design of the facade of the vertical volume is based on a modern interpretation of Perković's project in which the hotel room becomes a loggia. The project envisages full activation of the horizontal volume roof with outdoor pools and catering facilities in a green garden.
