Night of ideas 2020 Biodiver-city: How can urban biodiversity contribute to make our cities more attractive and resilient?

Saša Begović was one of the participants in the 5th edition of the Night of Ideas, which took place on January 30, 2020 in Rijeka (RiHub, Ivana Grohovca 1/a). The event, organized by the French Institute in Croatia and in collaboration with the Green Wave of Rijeka 2020, the European Capital of Culture, is an initiative of the French Institute. Each year, it invites all venues of culture and knowledge across five continents to jointly celebrate the free exchange of ideas, proposing discussions on one common theme the same evening. The theme chosen for 2020 was "Being Alive", it invited everyone to reflect on issues of ecological balance and human relations to the world. This global event can be tracked and shared via the hashtag #nightofideas
Open to all, the discussion was held in English and brought together biologists, architects and representatives of French and Croatian civil society.
