Medal for Urbanism

We were awarded with the Medal for Urbanism for the project Grand Park Hotel Rovinj. The annual awards for 2019 from the Croatian Chamber of Architects were presented last Friday as part of the Days of architects 4.0. program in Šibenik. Grand Park Hotel Rovinj connects the city centre and the tourist zone Monte Mulini. Together with the projects of ACI Marina, the public promenade, and the island hotels reception, square and pier, it is the finishing touch of the Monte Mulini zone reconstruction and upgrade of the Rovinj tourist offer. Although nominated in the category Medal for Architecture, the GPHR expert jury exceptionally awarded the project with the Medal for Urbanism with the following explanation: "Grandiosity and peculiarity of the Grand Park Hotel Rovinj ordered a corresponding action from the jury that awarded the Medal for Urbanism to the project."
