IOC Trophy for Sport and Sustainable Development 2012

For a special contribution to the development of Croatian sport 3LHD was awarded the 2012 IOC Trophy for Sport and Sustainable Development for the project of Sports Hall Bale. The award ceremony for the trophy and for the best sportsmen in Croatia was held on the Day of Croatian sport on December 27th 2012 in the presence of high guests and many top athletes. IOC Trophy is awarded with a different theme each year, all the National Olympic Committees are responsible to choose whom they will award the prize in their country. The NOCs may reward organizations, people, sponsors and local authorities which have enabled the development, creation or transformation of projects in a spirit of sustainable development, in all its forms, in their communities. The trophy is awarded since 1985.
