Building democracy - local urbanism

A seminar on urban planning in the organization of the Department of Urban Planning from the Ljubljana's Faculty of Architecture with the name "Building democracy - local urbanism" is being held on June 20th in Ljubljana. Special attention will be devoted to solving the urban planning problems of local communities. The seminar is focused on the presentation and evaluation of the latest approaches to designing interventions in the areas which are characterized by the creation of development goals from the bottom up. It will seek solutions in the form of theoretical lectures and technical discussions where participants lead by a moderator will discuss pre-selected projects with the theme of sustainable development carried out by the municipality in collaboration with professional institutions and the public. Saša Begović from 3LHD will take part in the seminar and present the Bale Shoreline Development Study project.
