CROATIAN ARCHITECTS AT THE MACEDONIAN BIENNALE
The Biennale of Macedonian Architecture Bimas 2008 will be held from March 14 to 28, 2008. This two-week event will present this year´s architectural accomplishments as well as challenges of contemporary architecture to the professional as well as the broader general audience. During these two weeks many discussions, lectures and exhibitions will be held and they will all reflect contemporary architectural issues. Two Croatian architectural studios, Randić-Turato and Studio 3LHD, have been invited to this year´s Biennale and will present their projects. During the Biennale our architects will hold a lecture and prepare an exhibition that will present their projects; Randić-Turato´s project include the School on Krk, LAPIDARIUM in Novigrad, Business and residential complex in Rijeka, ADRIS´ building in Zagreb and the auditorium on Trsat, while Studio 3LHD´s projects include the Split Waterfront, Bale sports hall, J2 house in Zagreb, Hotel Lone in Rovinj and many others. On March 24, Maroje Mrduljaš will hold a lecture about contemporary Croatian architecture within the exhibition Contemporary Croatian Architecture.Besides the presentation of projects by the two Croatian architectural studios Randić-Turato and 3LHD, Andrija Rusan and Aleksandar Predojević will present the magazine Oris.
